A Victorian rosewood Davenport. The top has a brass gallery, which leads into the sloped leather writing surface, which is supported by barley twist columns. Lifting the slope reveals a satinwood lined interior with two small drawers and a dummy base drawer. The right-hand side has an ink and pen drawer. Below are four graduated drawers. The drawers are mahogany lined. The left-hand side has dummy drawer fronts. They are fitted with brass escutcheons and turned knob handles. It is raised on a plinth base with bun feet and castors.
