A Victorian Rosewood boardroom bracket clock with a triple fusee double-chiming movement. The case has a broken-arch top and is inlaid with brass which is mounted with brass pineapple finials. Below, the arched door is flanked by two brass Corinthian pillars. Upon opening the door, with a working lock and key, this shows the arched dial with a silvered chapter ring and Roman numerals. The three subsidiary dials sit above, one for regulation, one for strike / silent and the third for chime selection. The chime is 8 bells or Westminster and strikes the hours on a large gong. The case has a reeded plinth, and is raised on turned feet with a brass gadrooned molding. The sides are fitted with material-backed brass sound frets.
