A Victorian carved walnut and beech hall side chair in the Jacobean style. It has a split cane back within a carved surround with turned and carved block uprights. Below the caned seat are turned and block legs which are jointed by turned stretchers rails. There is a carved stretcher connecting the front legs. It has a lovely deep colour and patination.
