A Victorian walnut and brass bound writing slope The outside of the box is veneered in a figured walnut with brass strap work, escutcheon and plaque Opening the box will produce an angled writing surface with pen tray, stamp slide and inkwells at the top The faux leathered writing surface has a gilt tooled finish and lifts to reveal storage compartments beneath both tops There is also a secret compartment which contains three small drawers.
