A faux mantel clock in a classical style. The case is made from cast iron and then hand painted. The American eight day spring driven movement is made by the ‘Ansonia Clock Co’ and it strikes the hours and half hours on a gong. The dial has a enamelled chapter ring with black Roman numerals. The dial is flanked by two sets of Corinthian columns.
