A pair of oval Victorian gilt rope twist mirrors. The tops are decorated with a three loop knotted crest. To the side of the frame there is a knots and tassel design, which echo’s the nautical theme of the mirrors. There is more knotted rope to the bottom of each frame. A label on the back of one of the mirrors has, ‘B.Brooks, carver and gilder. Picture frame manufacturers to the Queen est. 1708’.
