A Chinese lacquered jewellery box in a dark red colour. The box has shaped corners and an inset moulded top. The hand painted picture shows flowers, birds and sailing boats. The painting is highlighted with gold paint.  It has a working lock and key. It has four drawers to the front with shaped copper handles. The lid opens to reveal a removable jewellery tray with different sized compartments. Two of the compartments in the tray have lids.
